Fixed WING Transfers

Given the remote nature of most of the areas in which we operate, fixed-wing transfers are usually required to travel between international airports and local bush airstrips. We partner with Botswana’s most established and reputable company Mack Air, to provide an efficient, professional and hassle-free service to move our guests around Botswana.

For a more adventurous and intimate view of Botswana by air, why not book a helicopter scenic flight through us, and experience the thrill of seeing the abundant wildlife and incredible scenery on offer. A helicopter flight as part of any itinerary gives a different perspective on the world in which we operate, and is an opportunity not to be missed!

Lodge Bookings

As our mobile safari rig is effectively a lodge on wheels, we book our guests into a lodge appropriate to our guests interests, the time of year, and the best game-viewing, for a different experience. Staying in a permanent lodge or tented camp in one of Botswana’s private concessions, community areas, national parks or game reserves, truly complements the rest of the itinerary on a mobile tented safari with us.

Water Based Activities

As the world’s largest protected inland delta, the Okavango by water is an experience not to be missed. Whether doing a half- or full-day excursion on the water with a packed lunch, or spending several days exploring the vast open waterways, seeing the abundant aqua-flora and -fauna to be found here is a wonderful experience, and one which helps to shape one’s understanding of the entire ecosystem.

As many of our guests travel around the Chobe and Zambezi at the beginning or end of their safari in Botswana, we use only the very best company with the most up to date fleet of vehicles, professional, timeous and efficient service. Bushtracks operate between Kasane in Botswana, Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Livingstone in Zambia, ensuring that people are moved on time every time, to connect to and from international, regional or domestic flights, as well as between lodges and hotels.

Having a private guide for the duration of a safari in Botswana, and possibly beyond, really adds a higher level of experience for guests on safari. The intimate knowledge of all of the environments found here, as well as the ability to weave a memorable and life-changing experience, is always worth it, from our previous guests’ experience. At Golden Africa, we only use the best freelance guides in the industry. All of our guides have a minimum of 15 years guiding experience throughout Botswana, and in most cases throughout Southern and Eastern Africa. Each is a fully qualified walking guide, has first-aid training, and all of the necessary licences as required by law in Botswana to lead and guide safaris. All of our guides have also at some point trained up and coming guides of the future.
