The safari for those who want to go deeper and experience some of Botswana’s more off the beaten tracks as well as some of the most pristine wildlife areas. Deep in the western Kalahari, the Ju!hoasi Khoi San community are working with Golden Africa Safaris to redefine the concept of cultural safaris and create one of the most immersive anthropological experiences in Africa. Guests will experience a three night expedition with the Ju!hoasi Khoi San community allowing them the privilege of spending time with the community, learning first-hand about their ancient bloodline and traditions dating back countless millennia. Days will be filled foraging, learning survival skills, involvement in traditional ceremonies and quality time with a translator to immerse with the tribe. A deeply reflective few days, which is then followed by a trip up to the Panhandle, which offers cultural trips to Tsodilo Hills as well as regular sightings of Pels Fishing Owl. Lots of birding can be enjoyed on the beautiful boating safaris and then finish your safari in the heart of the delta, with an abundance of wildlife and mesmerizing wilderness to be explored.
